Volunteered companions
The Committee has the duty to provide volunteered companions for patients who undergo compulsory psychiatric care. The companions are like friends to the patients and will try to comfort them and help them in difficult times.
The Committee has neither disciplinary powers nor medical competence and therefore cannot make any medical judgements.
If you wish to take up a matter with the Committee, please contact the Committee Office in writing, by telephone or by making an appointment.
